Just a Note

Well I thought I would add an update. I have been busy sewing all sorts of things. I made some softies for babies, a baby swaddler, and a little doll. I have been suffering from a cold so I have not been sewing as much as usual. I just listed several things on Etsy and my group Boutique Mommies Creative Design (search BMCD on ebay) have a launch starting on the 18th of November. Hi all I am in Livingston, Mt for my grandaugters birthday. I thought I would take a few pictures around the ranch for all those of you who live in the East. The top ones are some old buildings with the mountains in the back ground. One is of the new house that my daughter and and son-in-law are building up on the mountain side and the rest are of Lindsay's party. The theme of the party was ice cream social little different for this time of year but that is what she wanted. I will be heading home tomorrow, I have to pick up my sewing machine from the shop had to take it in for its yearly checkup. I will also be shopping for fabric on the way home lol can't have to much fabric. Have a safe and happy Halloween. Barb

I would like to add a picture of my latest creation. I really enjoyed making it tons of ruffles lol. I had to take pictures inside because we had a early snow storm yes you read that right a snow storm. Gets you in the mood for Christmas but it has all melted and we are having a nice fall. Welcome to my blog. I am new at this but it has been fun learning how to set it up. I must say I would never have been able to do it without the help of Ami one of my group memebers Thanks Ami! I have just a few more things to add then I am all set. I have been sewing for over 40 years and it is just a part of me. I made clothes for my dolls, my daughters, and my grandkids. My best friend and I opened a fabric shop years ago, she would cut out the clothes and I would sew. I even made my girl's jeans when they were small. My girls hated shopping with me cause I would always say "don't spend that much I can make it." As you can see by the picture of my girls when they were small boutique dresses were not "in" at that time. Holly Hobbie was and those dresses were a hit. I really enjoy sewing boutique dresses for little girls. I love picking out the fabrics and putting it all together. I also love doing the embroidery and applique. To me it is just like painting with thread and fabric. I belong to a great Ebay group Boutique Mommies Creative Design you can search BMCD. We have some great designers and very creative members check us out. We have a launch at least once a month so look for that. You can sign up for our newsletter and keep abreast of that.
